Kate Godman graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury. As a student, she worked with Neil Labute's Free Theater Company, performing in All Men Are Whores, The Actor's Nightmare, One for the Road and Passion; she has continued acting intermittently throughout her career. Locally, she has been seen in Book-It Repertory Theatre's production of Howard's End (Dolly) and New City Theatre's Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula).
She worked at London's Royal Court Theatre and was co-artistic director of the Dondie Rockett Theatre Company. She earned her Master's Degree in theatre studies at the University of Kansas with a thesis on the work of Monstrous Regiment. Ms. Godman served as Associate Director: Casting and Artistic Relations at INTIMAN from 1998 to 2007.
