Freehold Receives Civic Partners Award from Mayor's Office

In February 2012, Freehold was one of the 128 Seattle-based arts, heritage and cultural organizations who were awarded a grant by the City of Seattle - Mayor's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs as part of their Civic Partners Program.  Freehold has been awarded a Civil Partner grant for the past 5 years.

The Civic Partner program awards funding to arts and cultural and heritage organizations in all disciplines with a minimum three-year history of serving Seattle residents and visitors. The City's investment is aimed at creating broad public access to a rich array of quality arts opportunities while promoting a healthy and diverse cultural community.

Civic Partners include well-established institutions serving the entire region, organizations serving a more specialized artistic or community niche, and many smaller or emerging groups. Our Community Partners are arts service organizations that work to serve and strengthen the broad arts and cultural ecosystem by enhancing the capacity of artists and arts groups.
