Auditioning for Musical Theatre/Theatrical Song Interpretation

Some things are just too exquisite to be spoken plainly. They must burst forth in flowery cascades of iambic pentameter, intricate poetic metaphor, or song. In this class we will work through and past the technical elements of singing on stage, and expand the colors in your unique vocal palette so you can bring the same honesty and specificity you bring to your monologues to your songs. We will also work on the technicalities of a musical audition, song selection and distilling songs into economical audition pieces.
