First Draft conundrum includes two choices for the playwright in terms of their work: tossing it into the trash bin or refusing criticism of any kind, insisting it is the best play ever written. In this workshop, playwrights will discover how good editing skills saves time (and multiple drafts) in the rewriting process. We will plumb the emotional depths of your characters, carve and shape dialogue, and come to understand how structure communicates a clear, concise pathway of communication from the imagination to the page and back out to audience.
