Corporate Training

For several years, Freehold Theatre has offered tailored workshops to a variety of corporations, providing employees with tools to build authentic relationships with other members of a team, listen actively, command attention, and expand their own creative and collaborative abilities.

Lots of employees are used to thinking up creative ideas in a vacuum, but they are generally less adept at being creative as part of a group. I know that, in my past, theater games and group improv exercises have helped me learn to be more accepting of other people in my creative space. Even something as simple as the rule that you can't say no can be helpful. There is a big emphasis at Freehold on really being present and listening to your scene partner – Past Freehold student

Our workshops may focus on improvisational techniques to inspire creativity and teamwork, or voice and body training to promote greater self-awareness and comfort in public speaking.  Our own faculty members, experienced theatre professionals in their own right, are happy to work with your company in developing a custom workshop to best fit your needs.
