In Kind Donations

In these economic times, we know it can often be difficult to donate cash, but another way you can support us is by donating materials for facilities maintenance and improvements.

What We Can Use Now

In the short term, we are working on expanding our storage capacity by constructing more shelving.  Additionally, we are always looking for supplies to maintain our facilities.

  • A miter saw in good condition
  • Vise
  • Boards: 1" thick x 8, 10, or 12" wide, 3’ or longer.  Real wood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF).  No particle board, please.
  • Shelving brackets: 8" x 10"
  • Full gallons of paint (no half-buckets, please)
  • Compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs
  • Gift cards to Lowe’s Home Improvement, Home Depot, Seattle City Hardware, IKEA

Technology

In the office at Freehold Theatre, we make do the best we can with outdated equipment.  Additionally, some classes we offer at Freehold have multi-media components.  Our technology wish list could be quite long, but the following are highest on our list of priorities.

  • DVD player with remote control
  • Macintosh computer running Snow Leopard
  • Computer speakers

Long-Term Projects

High on our long-term wish list is sound-proofing our Acting Studio and Black Box Theatre.  For this, we could use all the following in bulk quantities:

  • Silicone sealant
  • Drywall (the thicker the better)
  • High-density batt insulation
  • Framing supplies – 2x4s, 4x4s, framing brackets, nails, etc.
  • A storage unit in which to keep supplies
