Freehold's Studio is a theatrical training program for artists. From introductory courses to
master classes for working professionals, the Studio offers comprehensive training which aims to
develop an actor's greatest gift – a sense of truth – while developing the means to
express that gift specifically and viscerally.
Freehold has a population of nearly 250 students each quarter and a faculty of 25 working
professionals.
Classes are held at Freehold's space in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, and nearby.
Through rigorous instruction in a range of disciplines, Freehold's students are encouraged to
move the art form of theatre forward – to transform it, deepen it, clarify it, and create
new ways of working. This is done through individual class offerings, the Studio Series, the
vocational training program, and master training workshops.

Deposits and Payment Due Date
The deposit is $50 for each class costing less than $500, and $150 for each class costing $500 or more.
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The full tuition is due one week before the class start date.
We accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard. For credit cards, there is a handling fee of $2 for amounts $200 or under, or 2%
for amounts over $200.
