Dropping a Class
To drop a class, you must give written notice to the Registrar. All deposits and tuition
paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit fee, for that class will be considered a credit,
forfeit, or refund depending on the day of notice. The student will remain responsible for
any unpaid balances and forfeits as a result of dropping a class. Students should expect
payments of refunds (if applicable) within 15-30 days of dropping a course.
Refunds
If official written notice to withdraw from a class is received prior to the payment due
date (seven days before the first scheduled class) any tuition paid will be refunded.
If official written notice is received after the due date, but before the midpoint of the
class, the deposit for the class and $50 per class meeting that has passed will be forfeited.
If written notice is received fewer than 24 hours before a class meeting, the student will be
responsible for paying for that class meeting. Any remaining amount will be refunded.
If written notice is received after the midpoint (half of the class meetings have occurred)
of the class, the full tuition will be forfeited.
